INTRODUCING

SENSORWORX DIGITAL CONTROLS – SIMPLER!

SENSORWORX digital is a suite of products that includes load controllers, occupancy sensors, photocells, wall switches, and dimmers. Like most digital lighting control systems, it enables sensor, time, and daylight-based lighting control strategies for single and multi-zone spaces.

WIRINGSIMPLER!

SENSORWORX digital devices communicate over a topology-free, 3-wire data line connection that eliminates rigid bus topologies and strict wire routing requirements. With its flexible architecture, devices can be added to a space without the need to locate an open port or specific position on the bus, making expansion and system modifications straightforward and efficient. Common 18/3 cable and reliable wire/push/lever nuts are used to connect devices, thus eliminating the issues that plague CAT-5 based systems (i.e. incorrect RJ-45 pin-outs, bad ports, high cable costs, specialized tool requirements). Additionally, the LEDs in all digital devices will blink out an error sequence if the digital data line has been incorrectly wired. This allows installers to quickly and visually determine the health of a room’s data line.

DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEMS - SIMPLER!

SENSORWORX DIGITAL goes beyond its peers in the digital control system category by making wiring and configuration simpler... much simpler!

CONFIGURATIONSIMPLER!

All SENSORWORX digital devices are individually addressable and get digitally zoned together via one of three methods. The first is the out-of-the-box single zone default configuration. This method operates on the principle that if a load controller is not intentionally paired with any other device, it will listen to all devices it is wired to. In practice this method provides instant wiring validation for the installer.  Simply pushing any device’s programming button will result in all load controllers on the data line cycling connected lighting once. For many single-zone rooms, this level of out-of-the-box operation is all that is needed.

The second configuration method is a push-to-pair button sequence. Identical to the reliable push-to-pair process used by SENSORWORX wireless devices for years, this method enables configuration of multi-zone rooms without requiring an app or software. This method is perfect for installers that want to complete the digital zoning of a space immediately after wiring and while they have ladder access to all devices.  Requiring just a few seconds per device, this process is easy to learn and sufficient for all digital zoning requirements. All operational settings can also be accessed and modified via each device’s push-button as well.

The third configuration method is ladder-less pairing via the SENSORWORX Config Mobile App. Utilizing Bluetooth wireless connectivity to an advanced digital load controller on the digital data line, the iPhone/Android app can both import and modify existing zone pairings or create new zones entirely from scratch. All digital control zones can then be quickly configured with several operating modes, dimming settings, and photocell parameters via the mobile app as well.

SCENES & SCHEDULES – SIMPLER!

All SENSORWORX digital load controllers can store and execute light level scenes that are created via the digital scene controller. To utilize scenes that modify zone operation and for all time and astronomical based schedules, making one of the room’s digital load controller “advanced” is all that is required. The advanced option adds a clock and the Bluetooth access point for the mobile app to a standard switching and dimming load controller. This approach eliminates the need for additional devices in the room while not requiring installation of a network backbone, expensive hub, centralized time clock, or server for configuration software.

MADE IN THE USA

The SENSORWORX digital system complements our existing wireless and stand-alone controls portfolio, ensuring you’ll always get a MADE IN USA solution that matches your application’s needs. Shorter lead times, directly monitored quality, and a USA based application and support team are just few of the benefits of manufacturing entirely in the United States.
